Cervical cancer screening, also known as a pap smear, is used to find abnormalities in the cells of the cervix that could potentially lead to cancer. Most women should have these screenings on a regular basis which include cervical cytology, testing for Human papillomavirus (HPV), or both.

Routine breast cancer screening can find cancer at an earlier and more curable stage. Mammography, manual breast exams and genetic testing are amongst screening tools that can be used, depending on your risk factors.
